Jaclyn Irvine

UX Content Designer

Hi, I’m Jaclyn! My specialty is making thorny topics clear and trustworthy in high-stakes areas like user safety and AI.

I spent nearly 10 years at Google, where I helped shape digital products for Search, Assistant, and Identity teams. Before landing in UX, my background was in journalism and publishing, which has helped me think about user journeys through a narrative lens.

I'm currently taking on contract work and am open to conversations about the right full time role.

What I bring to the table

  • Scalable systems: Creating frameworks and patterns that help large teams stay consistent and move faster without sacrificing quality

  • AI design: Shaping responsible response frameworks, developing personas, and writing system instructions and prompts to guide model behavior

  • Cross-disciplinary alignment: Bridging the gap between policy, engineering, and research so complicated tradeoffs become decisions teams can act on

  • Clarity in complexity: Turning ambiguous, high-stakes problems into content that people can understand and trust
